Bread Cutlet

Indulge in the delightful crunch of Bread Cutlets, a blend of mashed potatoes. Perfectly crispy and flavorful.

Ingredients

6 slices of bread (white or brown)

2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed

1 small onion, finely chopped

1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Black Pepper (Powder)

Procedure

1. Mash the potato and boil it.

2. Make small pieces of the bread and mix with the mashed potato. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder and salt. Mix well.

3. knead everything together to form a dough-like consistency. The moisture from the vegetables and potatoes will help bind the mixture.

4. Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into flat round cutlets.

5. Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying. Place the cutlets in the pan and cook on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides. You can also deep-fry them if you prefer.

5. Once the cutlets are cooked, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

6. Serve the bread cutlets hot with ketchup, chutney, or any dipping sauce of your choice.
